Longmont Fire Fighters Local 1806 is partnering with Orphan's Bridge and with Kids Against Hunger to send 10,000 meals to Haiti.
Kids Against Hunger brought together nutrition scientists from Cargill and General Mills. Together they developed a rice, soy, vegetable and vitamin formula designed to reverse the effects of malnutrition and starvation.
At this event you will be mixing the bulk ingredients and filling bags with 6 meals per bag. Then we will be packing boxes for shipment to needy children and families in Haiti. Come join us for this great family event on June 19 at 3pm.
STATION 1 1070 Terry Street Longmont Fire Fighters Local 1806 Union has generously committed to raising $2,500.00 to package 10,000 meals.

There will be donation envelopes at all the stations. Donations need to be made by June 3rd. There will be a potluck dinner immediately after the food packaging.
